Marrakesh
Marrakesh is the former capital and now famous for its markets and festivals. Follow its twisting lanes through the markets to the Place Djemaa el-Fna, the main square (although actualy L shaped) in the Medina. In the evening you will find row upon row of open-air food stalls whose pungent smoke fills the air with mouth-watering aromas and for entertainment there are jugglers, storytellers, snake charmers, magicians and acrobats...oh yes and a few pick pockets. There don't appear to be any independent gyms, where tourists would go. However, there are many of hotels, which have gym facilties. If you know of a great gym, health club or fitness center in Marrakesh then please let us know.

This is clearly a spa facility but it seems one of the few good hotels in Marrakesh with some gym facilities...no in fact it's not a good hotel, it's fantastic...check out their web site. |
